How you can help
There are many ways parents and adults can help make a girl's Scouting experience a success. - and it is worth the effort to help these girls grow up strong! Below are some possibilities - contact your troop leader or the Council office for more ideas!
- Assist at Troop Meetings
- Lend tools & equipment
- Help with the Outdoor Program
- Help keep Troop records
- Share a hobby with the troop
- Shop for supplies
- Provide storage space
- Be a Troop Committee Member
- Serve as the Troop Cookie Chairperson
- Help with money raising projects
- Telephone Parents
- Provide transportation
- Coordinate Snacks
- Lend your Kitchen.....
- .....or your living room, garage, basement, or backyard to the Troop
- Chaperone an adventure
- Help collect program material: tin cans, wood, cloth, paper, yarn scraps, etc.
- Be the emergency contact person on a field trip
- Assist with troop paperwork
- Share a career with the girls
- Be a backup first aid person
- Train others
- Volunteer at the council office
- Be a member of the Service Unit Team
- Babysit!

Council and Camp events are held throughout the year at various locations around middle Georgia, including Camp Martha Johnston.
