Camp Martha Johnston 
Camp Martha Johnston is available for Girl Scout troops/groups and other organized groups that support a philosophy or purpose consistent with that of Girl Scouts of Middle Georgia, Inc. Girl Scout troops/groups are required to have a First-Aider and a Troop Camp Trained adult (Outdoor Fun and Outdoor Living) present.
The camp is available from August through mid-May. It is used for summer resident and day camp, troop camping weekends, S’more camping, Parent/Daughter weekends and a variety of other program workshops and training events throughout the year.
Facilities
The rustic facilities include several lodges and cabins that accommodate groups of varying sizes. There is also a pool and tennis courts. Each rustic unit is furnished with outdoor cooking equipment. Let the Fund Development Director know if the equipment will be needed.
The Adventurer Unit includes a shelter, 3 camper cabins (24 beds), 2 Counselor cabins (6 beds), a bath/shower house, and campfire ring.
The Explorer Unit includes a shelter, 4 camper cabins (32 beds), 3 Counselor cabins (6 beds), a bath/shower house, and campfire ring.
The Ranger Unit includes a shelter, 3 camper cabins (28 beds), 2 Counselor cabins (6 beds), a bath/shower house, and campfire ring.
The Walker Unit includes a shelter, 2 camper cabin (16 beds), 1 Counselor cabin (2 beds), a bath/shower house, and a campfire ring.
The Troop House has a Main room with fireplace, kitchen, and a bath/shower house. There are no beds for an overnight stay.
The Estella McGee Lodge has a main room with fireplace and large screened porch with picnic tables.
The Pool is available from May 1 through Labor Day. Groups MUST provide their own currently certified lifeguard and adult supervision.

Sweetwater Retreat facilities include the Peyton Anderson Lodge, Sleeping Quarters and Walker Arts & Crafts Village.
The Peyton Anderson Lodge has a dining hall, gathering room, 3 break-out rooms, a basement (that sleeps 8), a campfire, and central heat & air conditioning.
We have two sleeping quarter areas. Each wing has a common bathroom and 23 beds. There is a seating area and kitchen between the wings.
32 Camper bunkbeds with group bathrooms, 10 Counselor beds with private bathrooms, a kitchen, deck, coomons room, fire rings, and central heat & air.
The Walker Arts & Crafts Village has central heat & air, an outside shelter with fireplaces, and studios for painting and pottery.

Reservations
Reservations may be made through the Fund Development Director at Sarah Bailey Girl Scout Center, 478-935-2221 or 800-868-4475, extension 119.
Girl Scout troops/groups should then use Troop Activity Requiring Council Approval (Form K) and forward it to the Program Services Director for approval.
If ice is needed, let the Fund Development Director know at the time of reservation.
Check-in
Check in and out of camp with the camp staff member on duty.
Pool
The pool is available from May 1 to Labor Day and may be requested when you make your reservation. A fee is charged for use of the pool. An adult with proof of current certification of lifeguard training is required for swimming.
