About Us
Girl Scouts of Middle Georgia, Inc. serves approximately 6,000 girls ages 5 to 17 in 22 central Georgia Counties: Baldwin, Bibb, Bleckley, Crawford, Dodge, Dooly, Hancock, Houston, Jasper, Johnson, Jones, Laurens, Macon, Monroe, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam, Taylor, Telfair, Twiggs, Washington, and Wilkinson. We are one of 319 councils in the United States chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA. Girl Scouts of the USA is one of 128 national organizations belonging to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
Our facilities include the Sarah Bailey Girl Scout Center on Columbus Road in Lizella, Camp Martha Johnston on Girl Scout Road in Crawford County, and Camp Manipines on Lake Sinclair in Putnam County. They are available for use by troops for Council and troop activities. They are also available for rent to community groups for events and gatherings. (Check the Facilities page for details.)
